Anyone else here play roblox? More specifically airship assault. Any other place is fine too.
>>
i do! but most of the time only play Dolly's Factory and Meleeniacs. WELL, back then i used to play a looooot of roblox games since 2016 or 2017 (can't remember) the games that i played the most when i was a kid were Epic Minigames, Meepcity, Royale High and a lot of games related to fashion and dancing. during my pre-teens i was OBSSESED with flicker, it used to be my top favorite. Roblox isnt really my thing anymore, although i'm really intrested with axosun.

its a bit stupid of me replying to a thread from 2 years ago, but im happy to check that there is a roblox thread in here!

i do play sometimes, but really only to play dumb games with my friends! my original account is from 2008 so i have a lot of nostalgia for the older, less corporate Roblox. good ole days... >>1846 on Hikarin Channel the Third we support necrobumping. shades
>>
>>1846 well that is good to know! i rlly love meleeniacs, mainly because of the characters, each one is unique in their own way wish it makes it harder to pick a favorite. I'm hoping for an update that has to do with the characters stories in the future!

I don't play it but I used to. Started playing around 2011 and stopped in 2014 thinking it had gone to shit, but honestly compared to what it is today 2014 might as well have been part of the golden era. I miss Undead Nation and simple co op Zombie games.

>>1849 >compared to what it is today 2014 might as well have been part of the golden era I had this same exact sentiment back in 2014, and the same exact sentiment now. It's crazy just how awful it has gotten. 12 year old me would probably cry. I really miss the old meme obbys, the "Survive the Guest Apocalypse" type games (and guests in general for that matter), the zombie base building games, the "Zombies are Attacking Subway" game or whatever that was called. I miss the old models and the old sound effects. Hell I even miss the classic Work at a Pizza Place and Welcome to the Neighborhood RP games. I know some of these are still available in some shape or form nowadays but they aren't the same. I spent so much of my childhood playing Roblox, I wish so badly to experience it again just for a day y'know. At least with Minecraft you can always go back and play old versions, but the Roblox I remember growing up is quite literally gone forever.

>>1850 To me the cracks started to show in 2013 with Erik's death, the price floor update and the chat filter but by late 2014 you could kinda feel the shift to a more corporate Roblox. It wasn't immediately noticeable but you could almost feel like things were changing. Shedletsky leaving the team and Summer Games being hosted in like 4 different games that had nothing to do with eachother instead of a main one like most events were the first signs. By then I had thought the enshittification of Roblox had ended in 2015-2016 with the YouTuber infestation (DanTDM and all those Minecraft youtubers that moved over to Roblox and ended up bringing more newfags to the game) but I couldn't have been more wrong. All the scandals, the removal of "classic" features, the death of Roblox's "art style". The game is pretty much unrecognizable to anyone who played it during the time I did.
>>
>>1851 I don't know if I remember specifically when I thought it was going to shit, but the chat filters, new character models, and the removal of tickets rubbed me the wrong way, so probably the same era as you. I would have been 12 in 2013 so that was probably near the peak of me playing it. I started at 8, was hooked, played religiously until I was probably 14-15. You are absolutely right that the game is unrecognizable. I get on sometimes when others ask me to but it's basically a different game in the worst way.
>>
anyone remember Dawn of the Zombies? that was the first time i heard one winged angel loool
Your fortune: Better not tell you now
>>
>>1856 the first time i ever heard Caramelldansen was on a Roblox obby waaay back in like 2009 snicker i was basically introduced to internet culture through old Roblox.
>>
>>1858 that reminded me of that one time there used to be a roblox troll game where you get jumpscared with flashy colors and a very loud speed up version of caramelldansen.... i think it was made in 2011? but i cant remember it well, i first heard about it on roblox iceberg on youtube.
