I know you said you don't want to argue but I have to point out that one-fist pushups and unconventional back exercises are not an indicator of strength, and if you were able to do them yet still didn't carry muscle on your frame that reinforces that. How many pullups with good form can you do, how many pushups with good form can you do? Exercises where cheating the force-transfer mechanisms is accepted and standard, thus are worth comparing among people.
I could write a whole lot but ultimately it is because of physical activity 3x a week being normalized by team sports, where anyway I would make extra efforts to improve my frame and sprinting speed through dedicated training which turned me into a muscle-bound freak, then carrying that over throughout my life.
In a way you are better off not being accustomed to an athlete schedule, because the eating habits are absolutely unmaintainable, in any setting going back in time short of hunting in the savana, you will get fat if you stop training and are not conscious of it, like i did.
