Christmas Singing 2025

The idea started when a hikarin said last Christmas >>>/h3/641 >I had fully expected syrno to be giving a heart-shaking vocal performance... For the past 2 years we usually play some tunes for the festive times and on Christmas day we did "Merry Xmas Everybody" by Slade This year I wanted to change things up a bit so I gave a heart-shaking vocal performance singing Merry Xmas Everybody, but then we got an idea to have the staff join in and sing it as well, but it also wouldn't hurt to invite other hikarin to join us in singing as well, in fact I think it would be great. this might be like a vent post (?) i think but ive been wanting to get this off my chest so, im a guy and i used to have a girlfriend a month ago or so and we were together for like 3 or 4 months maybe, but the issue is she was really avoidant with me and would make promises and never fulfill them for example if i ask her to tell me "i love you" or "i care about you" just reassurance in general, she would say "im not good at it but fine" but then a week later we would have an argument over the same thing. after that i decided to break up with her. so earlier i was just checking her profile and i saw she reposted about a girl who is i assume her girlfriend (shes bi) and she kept saying i love you in the reposts which honestly broke me because when i asked for it once i never got it. i dont know what to feel i just feel really numb, broken and betrayed because i never did anything wrong to her really, i always gave her reassurance, listened, bought gifts. she wouldnt even make any effort to hang out with me but i gave her the benefit of the doubt and ignored it because i really did love her. but now i just feel like i never meant anything and was just a waste of time. and if you guys have any advice on how to let out my emotions healthily please tell me because ive been really contemplating self harm and i usually bottle everything up until its too late

Singing Voice Synthesizer project thread

So I've been working on a project to create a singing voice synthesizer I'm basing it on the description in Jordi Bonada's PhD thesis "Voice Processing and Synthesis by Performance Sampling and Spectral Models". After a lot of trouble with getting TWM f0 estimation to work, I've finally gotten to implementing MFPA (Maximally Flat Phase Alignment". And amazingly, it seems to have worked first try.
