How bad is it that I'm in my mid 20s, approaching my late 20s living in America that I don't have a drivers license or don't even know how to drive yet?
>>
>>11355 Do you need to drive or want to? If not, then it doesn't really matter hikarin
>>
>>11356 America has too many roads for me to not need one. Roads are the most evil thing to ever exist.
>>
Being an American, I wouldn't really use the term bad but it is something you should work on. There's no better time than the present, hikarin.
>>
>>11355 I'm a hagarin who took my license later than that, I think you should go for it. It's handy to have and if there's nothing stopping you, you might as well get it done now.

It's never too late to learn, maybe think about how your daily routine is and why driving could be good for it. Also, don't be like those who learn how to drive and then never drive again. So go for it smartkarin
>>
>>11383 How do people never have to drive again?
>>
Depends where you live. When I go to NYC I see a lot of 20 year olds say they don't have a license; they just don't need one. Same might go for other big cities. Adult courses are usually pretty easy for most states. I think you should just do it.
>>
I learned to drive manual when I was 16 and never touched a car again because walking or taking a bus is easier. I enjoy those 15 minutes of doing nothing and just looking at the city.
Your fortune: Very bad luck
>>
>>11358 move to some place on the east coast. more towns there have mixed use zoning so you wouldn't have to drive as much as you would elsewhere
>>
>>11370 What if I'm checked out?
>>
it is bad in theory, but think about it, all the pain about insurance, taxes, finding the car, the ac not working. If you have a job within walking distance, I say you're fine
>>
>>11395 Also car hijacking, car vandalism, parking fees, planned obsolescence with cryptic maintenance knowledge for exactly your car model and the corresponding rip-offs for maintenance and repair
