>>11703 I am not sure if I have any specific resolutions, I'm mostly just continuing on with what I was doing this year. Saving more money, becoming more fit, reading more books, learning more Japanese. Moving back in with my father in the summer which will free up time and money to focus more on my personal development. I'm actually looking forward to it quite a bit! Do you have any resolutions OP? >>11707 Best of luck hikarin!
>>
learn japanese but this time actually do it, real, not fake
>>
>>11725 get anki with fsrs hikarin do it do it do it learn kanji good luck happyhappy
>>
For new years I only stop doing things instead of start doing new ones, so I will not be installing social media apps on my cellphone this coming year
>>
I didn't set any or barely any resolutions yet. Should I be worried? down Though I can say I want to develop my interests: read fiction and history books, start watching anime again. Now that I think about it, I could set a goal of reaching a certain level in french (will start classes in March). It would be good if I could reach B1 until the end of this year. oops
Your fortune: Average Luck
>>
>>11703 My newest resolution is 3440x1440 snicker I'm going to sit at my computer this year and do nothing all over again
>>
>>11743 My computer is 1280x1080 ken you play everything on it
>>
>>11742 Hikarin, which history books? You should read Tolkien's Legendarium!! Good luck with French! You should apply to the Foreign Legion if yer ever looking for a job happyhappy

Good luck anon, are you done with uni? Any routines you recommend to get more fit? >Do you have any resolutions OP Learn a language! And get my exams done! >>11759 No, not done with uni. Still a few years to go, i'm a part time student so it's taking some time. Working on it tho! >Any routines you recommend to get fit? Honestly I have been lifting so long I make my own routine based on what lifts I enjoy. There are plenty of beginner routines online, as long as you're doing compound lifts (aka exercises that hit multiple muscle groups, bench press, leg press, and lat pulldowns for example) and hitting all of your muscle groups (push, pull, legs, core) you'll be off to a great start. >And have money by the end of the year! Don't we all... laugh
>>
>>11766 Sorry hold on I didn't explain that well. Compound exercises hit multiple muscles. Like a pull up targets your back and bicep muscles. Compared to an isolated lift, like a bicep curl, that really only targets the bicep. And you want to work out different muscle groups. Push is chest and triceps, pull is back and bicep, legs and core are self explanatory. In the beginning it is common to do full-body days where you do an exercise that hits every group each day, but later on weightlifters usually switch to doing each group on separate days to hit them more intensely. If I were to create a beginner routine, it would be something real simple like: 3 (sets) x 8 (reps) dumbell chest press 3x8 lateral pulldown or assisted pull-up 3x8 leg press and three sets of however many crunches you can manage. Don't fall for the meme of autistically optimizing your lifts, do whatever you enjoy within reason. Lifting is in art as much as it is a science.

I had a resolution that I was going to keep my room clean. I even did a deep cleaning of my room shortly before new years but I'm already failing at this since my room is already becoming a shithole again. How the fuck do people keep their rooms clean?
>>
>>11834 On the other hand, im wondering how people get it dirty. The worst I have is desk clutter from a lack of room. I put my clothes in my hampers, make my bed every morning (it takes 30 seconds at most). I clean sheets and vacuum maybe... once a month lol. could be better. What the hell are you doing to get it so dirty? Is it like... food dirty? Like plates???
