What's your BMI Hikarin? Mine is 17.7 https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm >Underweight = <18.5 >Normal weight = 18.5–24.9 >Overweight = 25–29.9 >Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

BMI isn't the greatest way to measure health because it is highly skewed by muscle mass. I am a weightlifter and although I do agree that I have too high of a bodyfat % right now, my BMI number would be misleading. Right now my BMI is 29.3.

>>
>>12442 thirtyfuckingsix, i am muscular under the fat so it doesnt look as bad, but i am still fucking fat under the shirt it'd be nice to get leaner, and i happen to have to get leaner because i'd like to compete at a high level in a combat sport i have been practicing for a long time, yk it has weight classes. Thing is I live with my family so its hard to stay in a deficit when you are eating together, there are also relatives living nearby so about twice a month its "lets go out and eat a pizza", if I fucked off somewhere far away i'd probably pass entire days without eating
>>
>>12483 I'm pissed that someone has a higher BMI than me on here, I'm going on a turbo weight-gain buffet diet to one up you.

17.8 I only have some muscle in my legs because I like to walk a lot and stroll through nearby woods, otherwise I hate gyms and the whole culture surrounding it. Used to have it >24 ages ago, but then I decided to quit drinking sugary drinks, eat less meat and deep fried stuff, as well as swap out breakfast items and snacks full of fats and sugars for healthier options like grains and stuff. Lost a bunch weight, got used to the new routine/diet (overtime I started to dislike stuff too sweet), and so the needle never really moved much since.
>>
>>12977 >eat less meat >full of fats >17.8 Please don't fall for the lies about eating meat. Sugar is the only bad thing you mentioned, your body needs fat, cholesterol, and meat to be eated
>>
>>12442 18.1 and I can't gain weight! I understand that I have to eat more but it's hard. It's hard to cook everyday and it's hard to it in the office. Hate office.

>>13000 Meats and fats are good. It depends on the meat and the fat, though. Deli meats are commonly very processed and high in sodium. Can't go wrong with some lean chicken, beef, or turkey!
>>
>>13022 why is sodium bad anyway? does it not reduce carb cravings?
>>

>>13000 I should state I love fish and my diet has strong Nordic and Mediterranean influences. As in, it's rare for a week to go by where I don't eat salmon, haddock, squid or shellfish (those frozen medleys you buy, not as good as fresh but satisfies the palate for a fraction of the cost). When I said I ate less meat I really meant cutting off red meats and leaning more into poultry and seafood. Almost everything I cook up starts with a base of rapeseed or olive oil lol I eat lots of veggie soups as side dishes as well, and bread is often wholemeal. って 心配してくれてありがとうね

17.3 here as well. don't really have any eating problems i dont think, other than forgetting to eat some days (like once a month at most). just never gain much weight from it.
>>
20.8 but i have no muscle so its unhealthy fats
>>
>>13023 Chronically high sodium intake is likely to lead to high blood pressure! Watch your sodium levels and remember to hydrate.

I fucking love food
