>>374 any top-down shooter is a space invaders clone, technically... you have to remember that Touhou's been around for a couple of decades by now, and was made by only one person for the most part; the games are kind of like the progenitor to what we'd describe as the indie scene now. combine its age with fun (and/or challenging) gameplay, high replayability, a cool world filled with likeable characters, yet not super heavy on story so there's lots left to the imagination, and good music, and it's not very difficulty to see why it got popular initially. its enduring doujin scene and dedicated fanbase continues to keep the series and its fanbase not only relevant into the current day, but also still growing.

Can i get some inspiration for video game design? Like, art design specifically. Like i m trying to plan out the aesthetics for the environment, the level basically, so it s all about, painting the looks but somehow i dont have enough idea or motivation to repeat the same boxes or trees Any solution to this? I guess it s v psychological than actual logistic problem Sorry but pls Feel free to suggest anything. Hint; the idea needa to be vibrant and many enough, so i can do ALOT of variety

For motivation, I'm not too sure what to say about that because it's more on you

It should be like picture here but... somehow i have sort of, switched my thought processing, so This picture is good but not, motivating enough... So i need SMAller tiny bits of things that represent these things of sorts, or similar. Idk this sounds lame now. I m just very drained for days now and i havent been productive no matter what i do. I thought an outside input may help... but this seems to be more specific
